Selena Marie Norris and I started our friendship while initiating the petition to have the New York Metropolitan Museum's McQueen Exhibit to globally travel. We were flattered to see our efforts emulated via a competing petition from a larger, more established online publication and took pride that we made an impact with our efforts to increase dialogue on the subject, garnering some media attention in the process. Since then, we have been great friends.
